Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR3156-3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR3156-3 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MIR3156-3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR3156-3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA are the cancer types where MIR3156-3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
