Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR3147 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR3147’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where MIR3147 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR3147 is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC are the cancer types where MIR3147 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
