Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR3144 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR3144’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where MIR3144 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR3144 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where MIR3144 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
