Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR3116-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR3116-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher MIR3116-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR3116-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and THCA show a favorable association.

READ, TGCT, and ACC are the cancer types where MIR3116-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
