Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR302D RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR302D’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where MIR302D RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR302D is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where MIR302D tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
