Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR27B RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR27B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MIR27B RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR27B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PAAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, PAAD, and COAD are the cancer types where MIR27B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
