Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR190A RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR190A data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MIR190A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR190A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML show a favorable association.
SKCM, LUAD, and READ are the cancer types where MIR190A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
