Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR182 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR182 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MIR182 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR182 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as TGCT show a favorable association.

UCEC, COAD, and PAAD are the cancer types where MIR182 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
