Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR154 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR154 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MIR154 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR154 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML show a favorable association.

BLCA, HNSC, and UCS are the cancer types where MIR154 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
