Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR138-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR138-2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher MIR138-2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR138-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and STAD show a favorable association.

READ, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR138-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
