Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR134 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR134 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MIR134 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR134 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SKCM, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR134 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
