Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR132 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR132 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MIR132 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR132 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and STAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, KIRP, and BLCA are the cancer types where MIR132 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
