Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR129-2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIR129-2 data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MIR129-2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR129-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA are the cancer types where MIR129-2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
