Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR128-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR128-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MIR128-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR128-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and ESCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, UCEC, and UVM are the cancer types where MIR128-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
