Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR1197 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR1197 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), where higher MIR1197 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR1197 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and GBM show a favorable association.
LAML, STAD, and GBM are the cancer types where MIR1197 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
