Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR1185-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR1185-1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher MIR1185-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR1185-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

TGCT, GBM, and UCEC are the cancer types where MIR1185-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
