Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR100HG RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR100HG data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MIR100HG RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR100HG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LIHC show a favorable association.

KIRP, UCS, and BLCA are the cancer types where MIR100HG RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
