Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR1-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIR1-1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher MIR1-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR1-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, DLBC, and HNSC are the cancer types where MIR1-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
