Across TCGA patient cohorts, MIP protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 316 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MIP-associated proteins across cancer lineages are RAI14_S318, RASGRP2_S587, and LRCH4_S281. Each is linked with MIP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MIP-to-partner and partner-to-MIP results are reported.
