Across TCGA patient cohorts, MIER1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,915 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MIER1-associated genes across cancer lineages are NARS1, TXNL1, and RPL12P40. Each is linked with MIER1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MIER1-to-partner and partner-to-MIER1 results are reported.
