Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MID2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MID2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MID2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MID2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where MID2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
