Across TCGA patient cohorts, MID2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 41 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MID2-associated genes across cancer lineages are p38-MAPK_pT180_Y182, INPP4B, and MEK1. Each is linked with MID2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MID2-to-partner and partner-to-MID2 results are reported.
