Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MICU2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MICU2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MICU2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MICU2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

COAD, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where MICU2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
