Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MICU1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MICU1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher MICU1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MICU1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where MICU1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
