MICAL2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MICAL2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 48 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MICAL2-associated genes across cancer lineages are Cyclin-B1, PCNA, and Bax. Each is linked with MICAL2 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MICAL2-to-partner and partner-to-MICAL2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Cyclin-B1 grouped by MICAL2-low versus MICAL2-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MICAL2→partner) and Y-score (partner→MICAL2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
