Across TCGA patient cohorts, MIAT RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 16,818 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MIAT-associated proteins across cancer lineages are PLEK, WIPF1, and RTN1. Each is linked with MIAT in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MIAT-to-partner and partner-to-MIAT results are reported.
