Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MGST3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MGST3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MGST3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MGST3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, CESC, and SKCM are the cancer types where MGST3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
