Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MGAT5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MGAT5 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MGAT5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MGAT5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where MGAT5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
