MGAT5

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, MGAT5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 498 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MGAT5-associated genes across cancer lineages are DEFA6, OR10Q1, and OR52B4. Each is linked with MGAT5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MGAT5-to-partner and partner-to-MGAT5 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, DEFA6 grouped by MGAT5-low versus MGAT5-high in LUNG_SCLC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MGAT5→partner) and Y-score (partner→MGAT5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
