Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MFSD2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MFSD2A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher MFSD2A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MFSD2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where MFSD2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
