Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MFSD14A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MFSD14A data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher MFSD14A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MFSD14A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and COAD show a favorable association.

SCLC, LIHC, and LGG are the cancer types where MFSD14A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
