Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MFSD13A RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MFSD13A data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MFSD13A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MFSD13A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and LGG show a favorable association.
ACC, SCLC, and THCA are the cancer types where MFSD13A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
