Across TCGA cell cohorts, MFGE8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,237 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MFGE8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Maintenance of protein localization in organelle, Protein stabilization, and Negative regulation of myoblast fusion. Each is linked with MFGE8 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MFGE8-to-partner and partner-to-MFGE8 results are reported.
