Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MFF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MFF data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MFF Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MFF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

ACC, COAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where MFF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
