Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MFAP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MFAP3 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher MFAP3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MFAP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUSC, and TGCT are the cancer types where MFAP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
