Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MEX3D RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MEX3D data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher MEX3D RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MEX3D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and UCEC show a favorable association.

MESO, ACC, and KIRP are the cancer types where MEX3D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
