Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MEX3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MEX3A data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MEX3A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MEX3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, READ, and PRAD are the cancer types where MEX3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
