Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,553 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible METTL8-associated genes across cancer lineages are LIX1L, CLEC11A, and BBS4. Each is linked with METTL8 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL8-to-partner and partner-to-METTL8 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, METTL8 versus LIX1L in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.38.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (METTL8→partner) and Y-score (partner→METTL8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
