METTL8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, METTL8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METTL8-associated genes across cancer lineages are MMP27, KRTAP12-3, and DCD. Each is linked with METTL8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL8-to-partner and partner-to-METTL8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MMP27 grouped by METTL8-low versus METTL8-high in BLOOD_Leukemia.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (METTL8→partner) and Y-score (partner→METTL8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
