Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, METTL7B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated METTL7B data layer compared with 31 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher METTL7B mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated METTL7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where METTL7B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
