Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, METTL7A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated METTL7A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher METTL7A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated METTL7A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, CCRCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where METTL7A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
