Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL14 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,741 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METTL14-associated genes across cancer lineages are TTC5, DMAC2L, and PPP1R3E. Each is linked with METTL14 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL14-to-partner and partner-to-METTL14 results are reported.
