Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, METAP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated METAP2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher METAP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated METAP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where METAP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
