Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, METAP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated METAP1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher METAP1 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated METAP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where METAP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
