Across TCGA patient cohorts, METAP1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,715 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METAP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASPA, RASGRP4, and ZCCHC24. Each is linked with METAP1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METAP1-to-partner and partner-to-METAP1 results are reported.
