Across TCGA cell cohorts, MESD RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,197 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Lymphoma shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MESD-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Protein N-linked glycosylation, Multi-pass transmembrane protein insertion into ER membrane, and Regulation of translational initiation in response to stress. Each is linked with MESD in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MESD-to-partner and partner-to-MESD results are reported.
