Across TCGA patient cohorts, MERTK mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 40 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MERTK-associated genes across cancer lineages are HER3_pY1289, Caspase-8, and JNK2. Each is linked with MERTK in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MERTK-to-partner and partner-to-MERTK results are reported.
