Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MEP1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MEP1A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher MEP1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MEP1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and CESC show a favorable association.
DLBC, OV, and CESC are the cancer types where MEP1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
