Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MELTF-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MELTF-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MELTF-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MELTF-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and THYM show a favorable association.

KIRC, COAD, and ACC are the cancer types where MELTF-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
