Across TCGA cell cohorts, MELK RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,198 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MELK-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of mitotic sister chromatid separation, Regulation of chromosome separation, and Protein localization to kinetochore. Each is linked with MELK in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MELK-to-partner and partner-to-MELK results are reported.
